South Africa’s NewsTime reports that former Springbok coach Jake White has applied for the job coaching the Brumbies next year (pity they’re not starting him this week).

Perhaps more interesting is the selection panel that will be conducting interviews of the candidates:

The interview panel will consist of Fagan, former Brumbies Pat Howard, Joe Roff and John Mackay, a local businessman.

“Fagan, with all due respect, I find it very hard to see the logic behind some of the moves you have made with this fine organization. In the past 5 years you have caused myself, and the city of Canberra, a good deal of distress, as we have watched you take our beloved Brumbies and reduced them to a laughing stock, all for the glorification of your massive ego!” – George Costanza.

Sob, whimper and pass me the razor blade. There is no hope.
