Foxsports have all the goss on the Brumbies’ massive thrashing of the Queensland Reds, 52-13!

It puts us (for now) on equal 4th with NSW and Canterbury.

(Although after last week’s debacle our points differential is still on -13, so another big win is needed)

I love this bit about it always being the coach’s fault. Last I checked he was in the coaches box and not the one on the field dropping the ball, missing tackles and making general errors on the field.

This is a bit rich given that it’s less than a year since Laurie Fisher got boned because the Brumbies weren’t performing.

Also, didn’t your boys lose 56-7 a mere ten days ago? How many dropped balls, missed tackles and general errors in play contributed towards that sterling result?

It’s been an interesting year for them…up & down like a yo-yo. I reckon it’ll be a better season for The Reds next year…they have the basis of a good, young team & certainly know how to play some exciting Rugby.

It was a joy to watch…particularly after the nightmare of the week before. Queensland did look somewhat lost without Barnes, but was still a well played game by The Brumbies. If they keep that up (bonus point wins) for the next 2 rounds, then maybe…just maybe they’ll make the finals. Still long odds though I suspect.

The pointy end of the competition will be in Cowtown. I think the Hurricanes will lose there this Saturday and probably again in the Final. The Brumbies and Crusaders will be the losing teams in the intervening weeks.

Was much much better than last week. But it was against a far weaker opponent who also lost their best player and play maker in the warm up.

The Hurricanes look like they’re finally going to win the thing.

BTW, what do the Raiders have to do with this thread?

The Raiders got done though! I hate to say it, but maybe the coach has to start answering some questions. Their season is over already……

One thing the match did show was how appalling Qld is and how far they have fallen from the ‘golden days’. They should be thankful there’s not a 5th Australian province competing for their spot in the S14.

Still can’t see the Brumbies being competitive even if they make the semis as no doubt they will play away if they do
