Foxsports have the widely tipped news that the Brumbies have recorded their fifth straight loss, this time to the Highlanders, who are a decent side, but not top-rate like the Crusaders or Stormers.

Having waited until the seventh round to figure out their best backline (why do that in the pre-season?) there were some glimmers of hope from the donkeys.

It was such a pity they forgot how to tackle or kick goals.

Who knows, by the end of the season they might have it all together.

Well, aside from he obvious missed tackles, some lax clearing out and messiah Matty’s goal kicking abilities, I would much rather watch us lose playing like that. I’m not too upset this week. Having Toomua, Gits and Leliafano being able to cycle through 10,12 and 15 looks good (although they probably need to practise that a bit more). Also thought Henry had a much better game on the wing now that he seems to have been given a purpose.

Also note that Gits’ try…scored while second receiver. Funny that.

Apart from a few kicks which went too fsr how much better did the brumbies look when Tooma was at 10. Suck it up Rea face the sack for picking the best side and move Gits (shits) to 12 or even to the bench.
