Agree with Skidd Marx – Yes to Gits to centres – particularly if the mooted idea to play Barnes at No 10 for Australia goes ahead. I was oh so critical of Leilifano at No 10 last year but what a revelation (and now sad loss for the season) in centres … his injury last year gave an opportunity to a real find in Toomua so let again agree with Skidd Marx that he should wear the No 10 jersey to allow Gits to move back to where he first earned his reputation

Friday’s loss was totally attributable to three appalling failures in tackling which led to tries … the Brumbies have been serving up that sort of crap most of the season and it was a matter of time before they were made to pay

Hopefully they can now regather and they may still be able to make the final 4 … ohh those missing BPs 🙁

I think Giteau did set the world of fire playng for the Force. When he left he took about 25 competition points with him.

Having been made to run the ball due to being so far behind against the Blues is the best thing that could have happened to him. You watch him go against the Chiefs this Friday. He’s back. It’s just a shame the Brumbies will be missing their best back in Lealifano. If I were Andy Friend I’d shift Giteau to inside to pair Tyrone Smith and Bring Toomua on at pivot. Use Mortlock butt to warm the pine.

In reality though the Brumbies are finished for 2010 due to lack of BP’s.

I really don’t see why Giteau’s return prompted all this hysterical ‘we’re gonna win the title’ talk… he hardly set the West alight in his time at the Force. The sad thing is the Brumbies are paying him so much money they seem unable (or unwilling) to do anything about his poor form (ie drop him, or move him into the centres), which means that Matt Tomua, who did very little wrong last year, has spent a lot of time on the bench this season thinking about whether to sign for the Rebels when his contract is up here – why has he been given so little gamne time?

The forwards played really well in Auckland, but you can’t expect your front row to win every game for you. Friend’s hand will be forced by injury this week, so hopefully for you Brumbies supporters he might finally come up with some sort of Plan B that kickstarts the back division…

I’m so disappointed with the Brumbies this year. With Gits and Rocky back the team should be leading the table at the moment. After all the expectation, all the predictions we’d win the title this year, all the talk about a new winning era we find a team which can’t even beat the Blues – one of the weakest team. Brumbies fans have every right to be feeling disillusioned and cheated at the moment, and we should all be asking some hard questions about why the team can’t get its act together and live up to the expectation we’ve all invested into them.

Is it still too warm for our ACT teams? Brumbies and Raiders seem to thrive with cold balls! I blame the “Indian Summer” as the Ywanks would call.
