The Brumbies have named the side to take on The Kings tomorrow night in Bruce.

The University of Canberra Brumbies have named their team to face the Kings at Canberra Stadium on Friday night with Pat McCabe returning to inside centre after a five month lay-off.

The 18-time Wallaby has been out of action thanks to a series of injuries including a small fracture to his neck and a strained hamstring. Now fully fit, McCabe will fill the No. 12 jersey outside Christian Lealiifano who has been named at flyhalf. With Lealiifano at 10, Matt Toomua is out of the 22-man squad.

In the forwards Siliva Siliva has been handed his first starting spot at hooker with champion rake Stephen Moore to start from the bench. It’s been a long road to the No. 2 jersey for Siliva, who battled a series of knee injuries in 2012 which kept him sidelined from Super Rugby until Round 1 this year.

The side is:

Who are the Kings? Is this a new name for a team like the way the Cats became the Cheetahs?

Is that Barracking Barcham?

I wonder if McCabe has learned to pass yet?

And what’s going on with Rathbone? He seems to have faded away.

You should

a) pay attention to the comp

b) listen to the podcast

c) hit google.

The Kings are the Eastern Cape team out of Port Elizabeth pretty much a new franchise built around the anti-apartheid crusading Watson family.

Jake White has some bad blood with the Watson’s so it’s going to be an interesting game.

Glad we’re playing them here and not in PE.

Mogg missing, again. Must have been a bit more serious than first thought. Hopefully 12 and 15 swap about a bit, then the wing might see the ball.

Coleman probably passes less often than McCabe.

Leilifano cutting out mccabe is going to be a major attacking weapon.

the other one being mccabe running into the line at full tilt.
