Never fear, to my knowledge the Brumbies haven’t taken out a vendeta on RA’s very own revelutionary, Che, but instead turned on an impressive second half to initiate South Africa’s newest franchise, the Cheetahs to rugby Brumbie style.

Being deprived of rugby so far this year I can’t comment on the improvement or otherwise of the Brumbies game this weekend but I can say that I was impressed with stand in number 8 Adam Wallace-Harrison and a little worried by JP’s lineout performance, although he shined in other areas. It is nice to once again have a Harro we can be proud of. Those of you who missed the game can find a good write up here care of rugbyrugby.com.

lol – NO ! That SO wasnt her! She just presented the prize 🙂

how do you get to be part of the half time stunts anyway….

i think u need to give her some pointers. good on her for having a go though

The lady doing the kicking?

My mum was part of the half-time thing. 🙂

Admittedly he looks befuddled by some of the lineout calls occasionally. But otherwise a fine player who’s done the Brumbies and his country proud.

JP is what is generically referred to as a rock thrower with respect to lineouts. Australian Rugby hasnt had a decent thrower since Kearns. Watch JP warm up and he’ll hit the crossbar with his throws 9/10. He hits his jumpers (a far bigger target) with less regularity.

One of the more overrated players in recent memory.

most of them will be there.Even one of the little RA’s will be there.

Any RA’s coming to the Sydney game Easter Sunday? See you there!

Sitting in the open air bar in tropical Honiara, watching the coverage care of ABC Asia Pacific I couldn’t help notice how heavily rugged up the fans, and even some of the Cheetahs, were. In contact with back home I was reliably informed that it was snowing in the Brindabellas. Even so I’d still rather have been there to see the game live.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the ground for the Highlanders game,

Cheers,
Ntp.
