Makin Trax have posted seven minutes of video about their work building a walking trail at Tidbinbilla.

I can’t wait to give it a go.

Darren Stewart of Makin Trax explains the process, purpose and challenges of building the beautiful new walking track at Gibraltar Rocks in the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve.

Brilliant. Is it open yet ? The fire trail was a tough slog, especially in Summer

Some good climbing up at Gibraltar Rock, unfortunately most of it has been bolted into submission.

Well, most of it was bolted into submission in the 80s when that was the fashion. Ma y of those bolts are somewhat iffy these days, especially the ones that got a little warm in ’03.

I’d love to see that view through Jeb Corliss’ camera.

You , Heather and your team of professionals can be very proud of this one, Darren. Love the way you work. Not just engineering and construction – but the creativity and flair.

Sounds like a nice walk. It must take a few hours.

Is the track completed yet?

I think I need some directions…

So, is that the track off Tidbinbilla Ring Rd, which shouldn’t be confused with Gibraltar fall on Corin Rd (which is quite near by)?
