Building site burglary in Chisholm

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a burglary at a construction site in Chisholm.

Between 5.00pm yesterday (Wednesday, June 20) and 6.45am this morning, a number of household appliances were stolen from a building site in Lush Place where units were nearing completion.

AFP Forensics attended the scene to conduct an analysis.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident, or any person who may be able to assist police with the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.

Stealing from your employer is probably in the top three quickest ways to lose your job category.

Doesn’t come out of the contractors pockets, you have a lot of boys coming in and out of sites not to mention nearby residents. If a few people know the routine of the site, coming to an end with appliances getting put in usually not many people onsite (usually right before handover cause they ALWAYS get flogged given enough time).
