Elections ACT have announced they’re after potential objections to the registtation of the Bullet Train for Canberra party.

“Two other applications to register a political party were also received just before the 30 June deadline. These applications are currently being processed, and further details will be made public as soon as possible,” Mr Green said.

“Parties wishing to register for ACT elections must submit a list of at least 100 members and a copy of the party’s constitution to the Electoral Commissioner. Members of the public are entitled to object to an application for party registration if they consider that the party is not eligible to be registered,” Mr Green said.

Anyone wishing to object to the registration of the Bullet Train for Canberra party may lodge a written objection with the Electoral Commissioner by 20 July 2012.

Copies of the application and the constitution of the party are available for public inspection at the office of the Commissioner between 9.00am and 5.00pm on business days.

We understand the Climate Sceptics and the Pirates are still having their applications looked at before they move forward to this phase.

I want to start up the Multi-Function Polis for Tidbinbilla Party. I think I’ll have as much chance of seeing my vision become reality as the Bullet Train For Canberra Party.

Ah the old Multi-function Polis! So how’s that going for Adelaide I wonder? Certainly Joh Bjeke-Petersen was sucked in by all the steakless-sizzle of that little pipe dream. A bit like the promise of Iwasaki Resort for Yepoon…

Next time, we should have a riot act party. Increased funding to RA is #1 policy. All other policies decided by a majority vote on RA. Could be interesting. We’d do better than all parties mentioned above.

Well you should have found 100 friends and registered your party then!

I’m certainly looking forward to their lego efforts.

Personnally I can’t wait to see the climate skeptic effort! (I suspect it will involve more Star Wars lego than the Greens effort.)

… but what’s their policy on light rail, cyclists v drivers and gay marriage?

I’m certainly looking forward to their lego efforts.
