The Canberra Times reports today that a deal has been signed with Hindmarsh for the redevelopment of the old Burnie Court site. The redevelopment will be staged to include an intial 125 “life-style” over 55’s units.
BUT not reported is that Hindmarsh is looking to build a 10 storey apartment block on the corner of Melrose/Launceston opposite the hotel to fund the development. Think the hotel and double the height.
