The ESA has produced the following advice:
- The ACT Department of Territory and Municipal Services (TAMS) is currently conducting a hazard reduction burn on Black Mountain.
The location of the burn can be found at K11 on the ACT Handy Map (click here) or in the Canberra and region Yellow Pages phone directory.
Smoke can be seen and smelt across parts of the ACT as a result of the burn.
Residents are advised not to be alarmed by the smoke.

UPDATED: TAMS are now advising that the burning is still going on.
