It looks like the ACT will be part of a unified daylight savings regime for SE-Australia.

And the plan is for it to run for six months – early October to April.

Sounds good to me.

I have heard about your stabbing yourself in the eye paroxyst…

Try both. Improves your hearing no end, not to mention your sense of smell.

Daylight saving makes me want to stab myself in the eye.

Whoa, it echos in here!

Why don’t we just hook up some big-arse boats and tow the whole country about a thousand kilometres due east, then we would be in an earlier time zone, and wouldn’t have to change the clocks at all, while still having all the benefits of daylight savings.

Nah, too close to smelly Kiwis.

but it is equally as hard batting against pedestrian bowlers as well in that light… you wanna smack them around and the light just screws you over…. and it can make you look quite the fool!!!

You can do that at the Cube any day of the year.

I’d rather it started first Sunday in September. Then Thumper & I could get some meaningful ball-tampering training in, after work.

Surprise, surprise, the Nationals are against it.

Doesn’t daylight saving increase global warming

I must ask Al when he arrives in his jet

Still, won’t make life any easier for the poor buggers who live on the QLD/NSW border and have to travel back and forth each day.

Oh my God; won’t the sky fall in if they do that?

Anyway, isn’t Stanhope all against uniform laws?
