Trying to find a reasonable priced, reasonable quality tuxedo in Canberra but not having alot of luck. I was suprised at the number of stores where I expected to find them that just don’t stock any.

Does anyone know where I could pick up a a tuxedo, pure wool or wool blend for under $1000? Do I have to head up to Sydney?

Thanks!

Try Germanicos Tailors (www.Tailor.com.au) they start under 1k, Great suits and tuxedos, their Melbourne designers fly up to Canberra every other week. The only downside they take about 4 weeks to make them. 🙂

……AT LOWES!!!!

Ask Brad at BSuited, Civic – they custom make for very good prices

A tuxedo was one of the few things I ever bought from Brand Depot.

Blades might have one and they’re having a sale at the moment. Jeez for $1k you could have one tailor made by the tailor in Baileys arcade or another in the Churches Centre in Belconnen.

You could try Fletcher Jones

The are closing down and doing the administrators sales thing

I got one here – http://www.johnhanna.com.au/index.htm – they had a good price range and hassle free (ie quick measure, came back 2 days later for final fit and take away).

Top Cat in Kingston is the best place for dry cleaning it.

Try Black Tie by Xavier in Petrie Plaza
