Territory and Municipal Services want you to know there’s a new option for Sunday lunch:

Canberra’s newest foodie experience has just opened amongst the picturesque and rural beauty of the Tidbinbilla Valley at Cafe Tidbinbilla, Manager of Operations, National Parks and Catchments, Brett McNamara, said today.

“The new cafe will feature quality cafe style food, locally produced espresso coffee made by trained baristas and indoor and outdoor seating offering majestic views to the valley’s diverse flora and fauna,” Mr McNamara said.

“Well known local chef Taro Rose has come onboard as Cafe Tidbinbilla’s Executive Chef. Taro has previously held head chef roles with the Lobby and Hermitage Restaurants and most recently was employed as the head chef at Lark Hill Winery.

“Taro, who has a background in horticulture and organic propagation, offers a strong commitment to sourcing and promoting local produce, with a particular focus on building connections with the region’s best food suppliers. Taro is excited about bringing some exceptional food to Tidbinbilla.
