YAAAAAAY! This is great! I actually listened to 106 all the way into work this morning, as the music was unusually good and that Lisa-thing was nowhere to be heard. Her voice grates but worse is what she says. Banal, ignorant, fake and trite. Whenever she’d come on, I’d change over to 104 or Triple J.

She saw off Mark Parton, now evidently this Cam chap also, who was inoffensive and boring. The chap on this morning was good, announced the songs, said only what he needed to and no more. And the songs were good.

This cookie-cutter set of yammerista’s just there to fill-in the ads between breakfast bowel-motion and elevenses. Not only is it the same on all stations in a network, but all networks in the western world(Albeit with different, potentially trademarkable terminology).

Here’s a suggestion: Download a podcast on some topic you’re interested and listen to it on your phone/media-player instead. Not only is it more interesting and informative, you can list o what you want, when you want and you have pause/rewind ability.

I certainly wont miss their stupid wake up call at 5 past 6.

Can’t say I’ve ever listened to a word from the aforementioned Cam and Lisa. And to the person complaining about the content of 104.7, well, it’s clearly not obvious to you, but it is to me; they are catering to their market. Quite well by the sounds of it, too.

Now, as for Ross Solly, I need a lobotomy, although I’m neither a Greenie pub or a lawyer, but I generally like listening to the ABC and the thought of local radio also appeals to me. However, Solly is total turn-off for me. Can’t stand him. He comes across as a try-hard big fish in a small pond. He should stop trying.
