Can anyone recommend someone to clean my oven?

I have heard rumours that there are angels out there who will clean ovens for cash.

Does anyone have experience with these miracle performers? I’m looking for recommendations and an idea of cost.

Now that my oven smokes whenever it gets turned on I figure it’s perhaps time to clean it, but I fear I am likely to make it worse.

No comments on my laziness please. I am aware and make no apology.

Norwex have an amazing chemical free oven cleaner, a little bit of elbow grease and it’ll be as good as new.

So it’s just elbow grease then?

Probably even better if you not applying any form of grease…

LOL it’s a non caustic cleaner, but it works a treat.

Check out the youtube videos 🙂

Two votes for Norwex. Any cleaner can clean your oven for you but you definitely want a house full of Norwex if you dislike cleaning.

I can recommend these guys. Have had good results and reasonably priced. Not had our oven cleaned though so cant comment on the price.

Tony is a very nice bloke and rather helpful…

‘Ovenu’ apparently. I had mine cleaned a few years ago by another mob. Not sure they are still around as not coming up in any searches.

But Ovenu seem to be the go now.

We ended up buying a new oven as ours was too old anyway. Our new one has catalytic liners which is good as you can remove them or heat it up so it burns off the grime. Haven’t tried that yet, but it’s so big you could get inside it to clean it.

We have a microwave oven which seems to need disassembly for cleaning. That was a bit beyond us so turned to heat up to max and set it going for an hour.

Vaporized/burnt off most of of the embedded grease etc.

If there is ever a next time, will get an oven that is cleanable by normal means

It is easy to do it yourself. Although try to steer clear of using chemicals.

Could start by having a read through the previous thread on this subject.
