If I was to take a photo of a car parked in a disabled zone, with out a sticker/permit, where would I send it to, and would it be acted upon? Or would it be sent to the recycle bin?

I have had a gut full of people using the spots reserved for the needy. The other day there was an AS***E parked there with his feet up on the steering wheel, waiting for his 18yo bit of crumpet to return with his slab from woolies at Erindale.

I told him he was not supposed to park there without a permit. He told me to F*** off he was only going to a “MINUTE”. The car had no number plates, (White Commodore sedan). PLEASE!! what are my options… apart from sticking a grenade down his throat, pulling the pin and walking off…FAST!!

Of course there may be more than one white commodore without number plates doing the rounds but there is one that has been doing a bit of hooning and burnout work in the Banks area. I know where that car parks/driver lives and unfortunately he is a Banks local. I think he switched the plates onto the green commodore that he used to hoon around in without number plates.

Given the burnout mentality it wouldn’t surprise me to hear that he had disregard for handicapped parking spots. I would think Banks to Erindale is a resonable risk getting caught driving without plates so it may well be someone different.

Well its obvious what this guy’s disability is – tiny penis.

Isnt “dyslexia” a disability ?

ray martin might like to know about it..? derryn hinch? i know, triple six, the number of the best, would lap it up..!

Video it and post it on YouTube – that’s where ACT Police get most of their incriminating evidence from.

LOL yep, this works 🙂 make sure you name the video to “Me being like a badass in canberra – F**k the pigs!”

Try sending your photo to the department that employs parking inspectors.

You could park them into the spot or just stand behind the car so the cant get out and when they ask you to move say “I’ll only be a minute.”

By the sound of his attitude, he probably was disabled………….

The grenade idea sounds pretty good to me.

No numberplates, not much you can do, you would probably be wasting your time anyway

you could prob post about it on the internet

I would be more concerned with the lack of number plates – ie was it registered? no registration = no third party. Cops would probably be more interested in that.
Doesn’t Erindale have a police station??
Anyway – be careful taking photos of cars whilst there is someone actually in it, they may not be too happy if they catch you.
PS the parking in diabled spots etc does annoy me too – but there are bigger things to worry about.

Umm hasn’t had a Police for about 15 years or so…

If it is a white Commodore without number plates, how are the Police going to identify this car if there are no registration plates? It’s kinda the whole point.

I’ve seen Police walk into Subway at Erindale and tell people to move their car’s from the disabled spot out the front.

Someone even decided to have an argument with a copper, the person was sitting in the car, in the disabled spot, copper asked him to move, he decided to say he wasn’t parked, the copper asked how a disabled person would park in a spot designated for them, the driver said he didn’t care. The copper offered for the driver to attend the ACT Magistrates court to tell that to a magistrate, the car moved pretty quick after that…

But yeah, no registration plates, just means the photo isn’t gonna be of help to anyone really.

One of the problems with car parks at suburban shopping centres is that they sometimes belong to the shop owners as part of the whole complex and are therefore on private property.
The authorities therefore have no jurisdiction to police who parks where.

It really bugs me as well especially when there are other spaces available and they are too lazy to walk a bit further.
