The Heritage Festival is kicking off in April:

To celebrate our enthusiastic and committed event organisers have created a program that will have patrons thinking, exploring and rehashing their notion of design.

Festival highlights include a Rolls Royce Rally, the ever popular Jane Austen Festival and a series of National Trust expert led guided tours.

For families there are plenty of stimulating and interactive activities available to ward off boredom during the school holidays. Even better some of these programs are free!

Nature lovers will have ample opportunity to explore the great outdoors and enjoy the spectacular colours of autumn.

At Namadgi and Tidbinbilla learn more about the traditional customs of our Aboriginal people by sampling bush tucker or seeing handmade tools and artefacts.

History buffs will relish the opportunity to visit our magnificent properties or attend our fine institutions’ expert lectures, exhibitions and tours.

Fancy something a bit tasty? Indulge in one of the many decadent high teas on offer or whet your appetite with a series of master classes with celebrity cook Stefano di Pieri at Benedict House, Queanbeyan. Dine in style at Old Ginninderra Schoolhouse with a RMS Titanic themed ten course feast.

Worth checking out there website if this sort of stuff floats your boat.

They’re obviously using the same format as for other events. Every time you click on something in the index to get more details the index goes back to the top and you have to scroll down to find where you were up to. You’d think they could fix that.
