The Australian Baseball League has the rather exciting news that despite a loss to the Japanese Champions (!) Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles our own Canberra Cavalry are through to the semi finals of the 2013 Asia Series:
The Cavalry now advance to the semi-finals of the 2013 Asia Series. They are the first ABL team to achieve this historic feat. They are also the first team outside of Japan, Korea, and Taiwan to advance this far in the tournament of champions. They play Monday at 6:30pm local time, 9:30 Canberra time.
