Formerly known as The National Capital Craft Beer Festival it has been held successfully at the Schwartz Family Company owned Mercure Canberra (Formerly Olims Canberra) yearly, since 2008. SFC is committed to heritage, whilst paving the way for innovation in the Brewing industry. This is achieved by inviting the best Breweries to exhibit their wares in accommodating and picturesque surroundings.

Opens at 11am and finishes up at 6pm (at which point some of us may retreat to the main bar for a regular beer or two and a bite to eat)

I missed the recent beer fest at the Botanic gardens, so I might have a lash at this gig. who could complain about having 80 different beers and ciders in one place? 🙂

Have been to one of these. Not a bad event, but they can be a bit crowded. They appear to sell more tickets than they should, hence the overcrowding.
