Knave and Fable are sharing their exciting news:

Emerging Canberra jewellery label Knave & Fables recently made their debut on the Hollywood red carpet, with actor Ryan Daniel Dobson showing off some of the label’s dapper pieces at the Napa Valley Film Festival.

Ryan Daniel Dobson has starred in well-known Hollywood series including How I Met Your Mother and Castle, as well as his own film Prattle.

Ryan approached Knave & Fables after coming across their online store and was instantly drawn by the unique designs and felt they could pair perfectly with his red carpet suit.

He was on the hunt for a statement piece to complement his already dapper style.

Knave & Fables chose to pair his outfit with the Mycorrhizae Skinny-Tie Bar, the feature piece from the debut collection Knave: The Bronze Age.

After receiving his bespoke piece, Ryan stated “I love it. It is phenomenal; you have such a special aesthetic for interesting, beautiful, but still masculine jewellery”.

Knave & Fables are honored to have Ryan as an ambassador of the label and hope that his influence in the Hollywood scene helps Knave & Fables break into the American market.

Congratulations to all concerned.

Napa Valley is six hours by road from Hollywood.

I’m conflicted. On the one hand, I love the idea of Canberrans being recognised internationally for their creativity. On the other, I think Wilde summed it up perfectly when he said Fashion is something so unbelievably stupid it has to be changed every six months, or words to that effect.

Still, as much as I view the raucous squabble surrounding red-carpet events as detestable and stupid, I do like nice jewellery for men and I offer nothing but whole-hearted congratulations for the jewellers.

Call me a pedant, but I don’t think the Napa Valley is in Hollywood….

great news – design value adds and builds local sustainable economies.
