Get real. He’s an adult, he can say “no” all by himself. He doesn’t need others to hold his hand for him. It’s nobody’s fault but his own.

If you or someone close to you had a drinking / gambling / issue and no one stepped in and helped is it still only their problem or does responsibility also fall back onto those around him ??

I’m not try to defend him, but he has issues and it appears no one wants to help. Other football teams just want to throw more money at him.

If I had a similar problem, I would consider it my responsiblity and nobody else’s. I like to think I would recieve help, but that doesn’t take responsibility for the probelm away from me. Likewise if it was someone close to me.

And “his friends and Raiders should have the fingers pointed at them” certainly sounds like you’re defending him and absolving him of responsibility.

It wouldn’t shock me if that kid is born with a sleeve.

Unfortunately many of our profession sporting “heroes” fit this. Paid too much, no responsibility, never had a real job and real life problems.

Hardly an excuse. There are hundreds of young blokes in exactly the same position across all footy codes that manage to hold it together and actually do the job they are paid to do.

That may well be, but at some stage one must talk to their partner. If what comes back is brainless drivel well, one starts looking elsewhere for mental stimulation.

Maybe Josh isn’t that type of bloke. Don’t know him and hope I never will.
