South Sydney waltzed through the pansy like Raiders defence yet again (yawn)

Get rid of all the Furner’s not just David or the embarrassment will continue.

Think of all those Toyota cup players walking out the door into other clubs, why stay and be continually embarrassed.

So much for the bulls*** that Furner was getting the flick!

Come on the Brumbies

2pm today will see an announcement. Not exactly sure what but likely to be “the coach has the full support of the board and have extended his contract until 2020”
We would all like it say “the coach, the CEO and Johnny Mac have all decided to step down from their position to allow the club to enter a rebuilding stage”

It must have been hard for the fans to brave the cold and wet last night and then see their team get flogged. This can’t go one. The Raiders have to re-invent themselves or they will be out of the NRL at the end of this season.
It appears that only NRL teams can survive in coastal cities and having the name “Canberra” in front of your team name doesn’t help either.
Perhaps a return to Seiffert Oval and adopt the name “Queanbeyan Raiders” would be a start. Oh yes, and a new coach.

So you think the Bunnies hopped all over us, well, Inglis and Taylor do take a bit of stopping but those pussy Tigers 40 nil, geez where are we at?

Apparently Furner has announced Dugan at five-eighth that for this week’s game. Could be genius or yet another Furner folly – time will tell.

Over at the Greenroom there are some very heated “off with his head” discussions. Won’t be long now..

The problem is definitely in the coaching. Watching other teams play (the modern game, as they say) and the second man play and moves they put on (Storm for example) is amazing. Watching Raiders play is like watching a team from the 1940s – one pass, tackle, one pass, tackle – it’s pathetic. On paper the Raiders are a brilliant team, they just have no idea how to put it all together on the field.

Last night was the first game this year that I didn’t put Raiders on my footy tips. Glad now.
