On YouTube SheerspiteDemon has posted a celebration of Canberra’s roundabouts.

It’s notable for the cheesy old Dead Or Alive sound track and the use of every transition available in iMovie.

Can somebody overdub the YouTube vid in the OP with that bloody aweful song that was written and posted before the election (it went something like “it’s your town, it’s my town etc.) I think it would would add something to the video, I’m not sure what, but something…

what, this one? http://www.vimeo.com/1226560

The magic roundabout is easy to deal with.
Just mentally straighten out the inner-circle, and it becomes a paired set of one-way roads (clockwise around the outside, counterclock on the inside) with some yield lines for turning traffic.

I heard that the roundabout in Paris that surrounds the the Arc de Triomphe is the world biggest roundabout. I went to visit it and I still don’t think it is as big as the roundabout in Woden which manages to confuse many people every day.

Agreed. I actually watched a bloke on a bike negotiate the roundabout last Friday in peak hour traffic. Brave but Cringeworthy!

Lol gotta love school children… They probably went past the three roundabouts with water in them a hundred times and thought they were completly different!!!!

wow, its so budget, that half of it was clearly on a bus..classy.

So that funding that was announced yesterday for the ACT Film Makers Network finds a home straight away…this guy could go places…..

P’house forecourt doesn’t count as a roundabout, and three with water features hardly constitutes an obsession.

Still, I wish I had this guys spare time.
