Canberra's Chloe Butler off to the American Lingerie Football League

The magic of YouTube gives a good feel for the boredom that is modeling.

But it does star Raiderette Chloe Butler who, according to the Herald Sun is going to play gridiron in the USA for the Lingerie Football League.

The 23-year-old has been flooded with offers from American teams keen to recruit the former Townsville schoolgirl.

Butler – who moved to Canberra to pursue running at the Australia Institute of Sport before injury forced her out – is excited by the interest.

“To tell you the truth, I love the sport part of it way more than the modelling part. I love the competitive side,” Butler says.

Chloe’s also got a lot of photos up on her modeling page and her Raiders page informs us that if she had $20 at the casino she’d play blackjack (but apparently she likes to pose in front of roulette wheels).

Australian NRL cheerleaders seem to be in demand at the moment not only for American gridiron. The Indian Premier League (cricket) used 12 Sydney and Melbourne cheerleaders at a match recently. Apparently they performed on two podiums after every four, six and wicket.

no she isn’t!

‘gridiron’ is simply a slang term for the field marked with yard-lines on which American and Canadian codes of football is played.

Actually in Australia the game itself is called Gridiron. In the rest of the world it’s American Football.
