Hey just wanted to say I ordered this DVD off Dave Farrell and it arrived super quick…

I watched it last night and thought it was a damn fine documentary, a little long winded in places but a great local production nonetheless.

I was actually suprised to see the amount of division between the local wrestlers, and it was sad to see them branch off into seperate ‘troupes’ (PWA and the more family oriented ICW). I don’t know how much justice the documentary did the guys although I must say the film makers approach was very unbiased. It certainly showed blokes like the ‘roid munching Adam Gambino as the total idiot he is but then guys like Krofty, who is one of the most down-to-earth people I have ever met, as decent blokes.

In fact, I highly recommend anyone go and see Krofty wreslte any chance you get, he is a great showman, always gets a laugh and is suprisingly athletic in spite of his size. I think his next show will be at the Trackside festival, otherwise the PWA show at Woden Tradies in December.

Local wrestling is always a great night out I reckon, so long as you’re not looking for anything too serious. I recommend you go and suss it out at least once, even if it’s for a laugh, heckling is even encouraged.

Well done on a great local production, to both the PWA Canberra guys and Farrell Films.

Just go easy on the spandex dudes. You’ll be doing us all a favour.

Christmas gift for the Brother in Law…
