Caps following the men onto the losers list

Being crap has been the new black for Canberra’s mens sporting teams this year.

Now we’re hearing the familiar sqwawk of the loser from the Capitals Marianna Tolo:

”We’ve got a tough weekend, and we’ve got to do everything we can to get those two wins,” Tolo said.

”It’s still not over for us. Looking at the teams this year it’s going to be a pretty even spread.”

I do love the mid season grasping at the mathematically unlikely possibility they’re good enough to turn a losing streak into a winning streak.

nevermind, we get LJ back next year – no sport team can play finals every season, they’re just having a rest – bloody refs, they need glasses – et cetera et cetera. anyway the silver lining is that, being away on an extended holiday, i picked a good season to miss 🙂

Canberra United has 3 victories from 3 matches.
Home game against Melbourne Victory this Saturday 3pm at McKellar.
