An aggravated robbery took place at the Ainslie Football Club car park yesterday (27 February), where a group of 3-4 people, allegedly armed with weapons, threatened three victims and demanded the keys to their vehicle, a maroon Ford Falcon G6E.

Police responded to a report of an aggravated robbery with weapons at around 3.40 pm yesterday. They believe the offenders may have arrived in a black Holden Commodore.

It is alleged a man was in possession of a weapon and a woman was in possession of a knife. The victims complied and no one was injured during the incident.

ACT Policing’s criminal investigations team had since taken carriage of the investigation, and do not believe this incident is related to the recent aggravated robberies at ACT Clubs.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information or dash-cam footage that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
