ACT Policing is seeking assistance from the public to identify the man and woman in the images which relate to an incident which occurred on Friday, February 3.
The 19-year-old victim was at McDonalds in East Row about 2.30am standing in the queue to be served. The pair pictured entered and allegedly pushed in front of the victim. After an exchange of words the victim collected his food and sat down.
A short time later the victim was approached by the man, who then punched the victim several times to the face.
The assault left the 19-year-old victim with extensive facial injuries.
The victims’ mobile phone was allegedly removed from the table by the woman in the image after he was assaulted.
The male offender is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, dark skin, approximately 188cm (6’2”) tall, with a medium build. He was wearing jeans and a light blue long sleeved shirt.
The woman is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 165cm (5’5”) tall with a thin build and long, blonde hair.
