How about we stencil them with ‘the next part of the water cycle’?

Yes, and from there back to you local Woollies. Or would we rather our fruit and veg to arrive by aircraft from ‘somewhere else’?

Sloppery…Perhaps just stencil them all with “the sea”.

Those where the days when our mighty river system flowed into the sea. You could stencil Mildura fruit irrigation or rice farm for final destination.

I like the idea of having more information about the impact of what we do. So drain stencilling does sound like a good idea.

Sepi. What is drain stenciling?

Every drain goes somewhere. A drain might be labelled with a spray paint stencil, something like ” Lake Burley Griffin drainage.” What ever goes down that drain ends up in the lake.

Regrettably many people believe that drains go to the sewer treatment plant. They might be less likely to wash paint and other nasties down stormwater drains if they realised it goes straight to the neighbourhood park where their own kids play. Or at least their neighbours might be more likely to jump on such behaviour from others who don’t give a rat’s.

Stencilling where the water goes is about making that distinction clear. Something I support.

why does the box in the OP say ‘3 may’?

and discover simple water saving tips? or maybe learn them..? or is it perhaps like an easter egg hunt – ooh, look, behind this public art piece, a tip…

date fixed now, OP struggled with our calendar it seems

Win a compost bin?!?!? Man, I am so there!

Who’s world?

You only used two words and still managed to misspell one of them. Touché.

Who’s world?

I’m not a Greens member, but I am interested in finding out about organisations that can help me reduce my environmental impact. I’m especially interested in getting tips on making seed balls, drain stencilling is something I’ve never heard of before, and Annie and the Armadilloes was my wedding band so I’d love to see them playing.

A lot of people voted for the Greens, so they are no longer a fringe organisation like the liberals.

What is drain stencilling??

More ratepayers’ money wasted pandering to the Greens…
