Cheap pizza in Kambah

‘Eat here or run away?’ Sounds like the stocky little white woman hasn’t been sharing the pizza and soft drink evenly with her black mate. Still, the contrasting bandanas and hoodies sounds like a real fashion statement.

Seriously, who hangs around a house with a baseball bat on the off chance they are ordering pizza. The offender is clearly known to the person who made the order, the driver, or someone else at the pizza shop. It’s not rocket science.

I’m thinking maybe they ordered it? called it off a payphone or mobile (potentially stolen/throwaway or switched off after robbery), maybe even using the iphone ap or whatever, to a random house that looked like a good spot for a robbery, quiet, lots of trees, not alot of view from the other houses, etc

Or from a conspiracy theorists point of view, Inside job, its a pizza stealing racket with people on the inside of certain dominoes that send there mates messages whenever a decent sized order is sent to somewhere near they’re joint so they can run out and rob the poor delivery guy without much time spent on the street thus less chance of being placed in the area with an obvious weapon such as a baseball bat.

On a more serious note, I would definitely be keen to find out how the police pursue these incidents, as what seems random and with numerous offenders across the city, how do they stop it before it becomes seen as the next “easy payout” for junkies and thugs?

Because i have to wonder how long till a pizza boy out thugs one of these derro’s with a weapon of his own and gets jail time. I remember a mate of mine always took precautions when he was a delivery driver in Dickson, he kept a fireaxe under his seat, luckily it never had to be used, but he cant be the only one that keeps something under there seat

I did pizza delivery 4 nights a week for about a year. Never had any kind of incident at all, and I didn’t keep a weapon handy. Then again I was in the inner south.

I wasn’t saying all delivery drivers carry a weapon, just that it only takes 1

I think its time that pizza boys be equipped with Tasers.

There’s nothing worse than having to wait for your pizza to get delivered.

The biggest problem with this is that this sort of, increasingly popular attack, will drive up the price of pizzas.

Now I’m not a consumer of take-away pizza so I’m not too bothered, but plenty are and it will be them who suffer.

On the bright side, if you love a fight, just go and get a job as a pizza delivery driver and your wish will soon come to fruition. You might even help the fuzz clean up a few unsolved cases.

I hope the poor employees just trying to pay their way through uni/high school/girlfiends demands are not too shaken. Keep up the good work people, it’ll pay off for you in the long run.
