tandoori chicken burger

Chicken Gourmet is a long surviving stalwart of the Civic landscape.

To start off our review series of sub $10 lunches available to city workers we’ve gone with their tandoori chicken burger.

Firstly the service is fast. Really fast. Possibly 10 times faster than what the retarded children now employed by McDonalds deliver.

The piece of tandoori chicken is not exceptional but it’s OK.

The tandoori sauce they drench it in on the other hand is exactly right, zingy and rich. The bread is fluffy, the salad in the bun (a big slice of tomato and a hunk of cucumber) works well with the ingredients.

It takes two minutes from walking into the store to walking out with your lunch and it costs $8.50.

I’ll be going back for more.

Tandoori chicken looks mouth watering inside.

Not sure why you felt the need to use the word retard in this post? The sentence you wrote doesn’t even make sense, which is kind of ironic…

Your problem is?

Irate retard?

Damn that picture is making me hungry! I’m hardly ever in the city, so I haven’t eaten at Chicken Gourmet in years. This is making me seriously consider a lunch time drive.

They use the same kitchen as the pub next door, and the food there is very good for the price.

I wasn’t aware they sold food other than a big bag of chips to eat along with beers bought from King O’Malleys at midnight…

Ahh, I see you got the “baked bun” option. I wish I’d asked for that last time I was there.
