Chinese-Australian Communities in the Qing Era with Kate Bagnall

From the gold rush decades of the 1860s and 1870s, small numbers of Chinese women started arriving in Australia. Kate Bagnall shares stories of some of the women who left China for Australia in the late Qing dynasty, as well as the families and communities they formed here.
