In response to this morning’s ACT Liberal election promise to audit public school infrastructure, Labor’s Chris Bourke has put out a rather amusing media release. Essentially, he says “we’ve been auditing this for years and everyone knows that”.

Some choice quotes from the release:

The release today by the Liberals of their very first education election policy marks another Doszpot Doozie.

[…]If Mr Doszpot had bothered to read the annual report of the Directorate of which he hopes to become Minister he would have found this out.

[…]There’s no reason to let Mr Doszpot re-event the wheel. If he can’t be bothered to do the most basic research how he can ever hope to run Canberra’s public education system?

Cue the grammar and spelling aficionados.

Some of us prefer the term aficionadi.

Some of us might prefer it, however it is incorrect. Aficianado is Spanish, not Italian, so the plural is aficionados, not aficionadi. Keep preferring the later though if you like.

Some of us even pretend to be even more hypercorrect than we are (which is quite a bit) for a joke. And some of us don’t recognise that.

Hola!

Some of us simply don’t trust Liberals.

You have got to be kidding. I’d have thought spelling “invent” was the most basic….

I followed the second link from Bourke’s media release to the annual report, and it came up with “Error 404 – Page Not Found”!

Then I followed the third link, and it came up with “Page Not Found”!!!

What a panic. Looks like it’s Berserck Bourke!

Cue the grammar and spelling aficionados.
