Three trees in today.

In the first Bundybear submits an entry from Elizabeth, the South Australian Charnwood and hometown to Jimmy Barnes.

In the second is Huwr’s tree with dog adding cute factor.

The third is gtim108’s.

UPDATED: The commenters (and my fact-checking fairy on Facebook) are unanimous in claiming the trolley tree as in fact being from UC last year. Nice to see it come home having been claimed by murderous crow-eaters.

This tree is currently under construction in Canberra by an associate of mine.

What else will the South Australians lay claim to? Water from the Murray-Darling river system perhaps.

you can keep it. only reason that murray river water is called water is it moves faster than the land.

adelaide water is for washing. you drink rainwater from the tank.

I have seen a trolley tree in elizabeth, perhaps the idea came from canberra, but the tree is universal.

http://www.funnypictures.net.au reports it as being from Frankston. It is the Universal Tree.

Well I’m pleased the trolley tree has come home after being claimed by the filthy Elizabethans.

I’m almost positive that the trolley tree was constructed just before the Christmas of 2007 outside of University of Canberra’s Old Res, Block B. I took a picture of it myself at a similar angle, but I’m pretty sure that’s not the same photo. It was pretty impressive, but fairly noisy when they were building it outside my room.

That trolley photo always has the same beer cartons in it, every year.

I think that image is older than Christmas itself.

That trolley tree photo is taken in front of Old Residences at UC. I have no idea whether its a current photo though.

that trolley tree has been on RiotACT before and at that time consensus on here was that it was pictured at the old CCAE (UC) ressies here in Canberra – still a bloody good tree though.

I reckon I’m gonna have to source some trolleys and have a go at that this weekend…

good to see the trolley trees are still active in good old elizabeth. sigh. miss the trolley trees, and the beer needed to fuel the creative juices…

amazing that jimmy barnes calls elizabeth his hometown. so do I.
