I’ve been watching this thread with interest, nice one guys and gals. I to have to go now and er…. um… ‘glaze the ham’…

Enjoy your shopping, nik73. I need to wrap some presents to get to the post office. But you people will keep posting!

; )

OK, this is deteriorating rapidly… I’m knocking off ‘work’ and going shopping now!

hahaha… Granny, Caf must have posted that while I was writing my post, that sounds SO bad!

Only a Hillbilly style ham bake-off will answer this question once and for all ….

Way OT but try a brown sugar and orange juice glaze and stud it with cloves, say 1 per sq cm…

You will not come back from that.

oh, but the coca cola glazed ham in a tin foil tray in a hooded barbecue with hickory chips does it to me every time.

I have come back from the brown sugar & orange juice with cloves ham…

Nik73, coming right on the heels of caf’s post, this whole idea seems very wrong ….

*LOL*

Aww Granny, want us to put together a care package for you… a chunk from every riot-act members’ Christmas ham?

Can we have a thread for piccies of everyone’s glazed ham? With recipes?

I’m getting hungry now…

Is it just me or does “glazing the ham” sound like a slightly dirty euphemism?

I must confess I have never glazed a ham … I feel so inadequate! *sniff*

Mine’s a bourbon glaze (or JD cos that’s what hubby drinks so we always have a bottle). House smells like a brewery when it’s cooking. Tastes awesome though 🙂

If anyone here has a black christmas tree, here’s a question for you – what’s the attraction?

Bourbon and honey thanks.

Number three is so neat it look like it was flogged from a Myer store display.

OK, so I’m a self confessed neat freak. I can’t help it!!

And that curtain arrangement just adds to the complete picture.

Those came with the house which we just bought, we just moved in over the weekend and I haven’t had a chance to put my own curtains up yet.

Number three falls into my mental category of “Very Stepford Christmas”.

Haven’t seen it… Should I hire it out to watch while I’m glazing the ham on Christmas Eve? LOL

only with a coca cola glaze….

Well it’s at home and I’m at work…whoops – Did I just say that out loud 🙂
That picture is fine, it was fine on my mac, its just the crappy low contrast/brightness panels we use @ work..

So we won’t ask you to take another pic of your tree right now then? 😉

spirit too.

Im getting into the sprit alright…matter of fact, I’m drunk right now

Personally, I love all the Christmas trees so far, good to see everyone getting into the spirit! 🙂

Crap – I was on drugs when I took that pic – its way to dark….
