The Canberra Times has got an intriguing story on the “Circus of the Air” kicking off at 06.15 every morning across the Canberra Day Long Weekend (Can anyone explain why Canberra Day wasn’t last Monday to, you know, coincide with the actual day?).
It would seem someone thought the crowds who come down to gape at the balloon launch were in need of further entertainment.
On the other hand I might well go down (in the unlikely event I get out of bed in time). If any early risers (or shift workers) make it we’d love to hear from you.
