CityNews Gets "Larrikin Website" to do research for them, who could it be?

When it comes to sniping at the Canberra Times this website always tips the hat to the true masters, CityNews.

But we were fascinated to read their latest effort at sniping about circulation figures (doubly funny when coming from a freebie paper).

A larrikin local website has correspondents confirming the Ainslie offensive and further reporting…

Frankly, here at RiotACT we’re damn curious about who these larrikins could be.

UPDATED: This story seems to be jumping around the CityNews website, hopefully it’ll settle down soon and I’ll correct the link. Still, no way they can edit the dead-tree scattered all over town is there?

Further Update: The story has turned up again at a new location. Still no identification or citation of the website they’re quoting.

You have to hand it to them. They must’ve researched really hard to find our jibes about the Crimes’ hoodwink in the inner norf.

They should name the site. We want recognition.

Random posters sound much more credible when you call them “correspondents”.

the article has been pulled…

Sorry, I thought it said ‘lambkin’.

larrikin?

Must be Sam’s blog.
