Civic Post Office in Lockdown

The Post Office on the corner of Moore and Alinga streets in the city is currently in lockdown, with the fire brigade and police in attendance. They wouldn’t tell me what was going on, but based on the way they were acting, it looked like a suspicious package may have been found.

Access to all post office services is currently unavailable, but those wishing to post items or make use of a post office shop may go to the post office on Bunda street near the Canberra Centre entrance.

Traffic flow in the area isn’t great, with Moore street down to one lane, with police directing traffic. Pedestrians will need to take a detour across the road until further notice.

Hooray, my C4 has arrived (Maybe I should’nt have had it sent through the post?) 🙂

Such a loveable curmudgeon. As long as you don’t call them effing c’s loudly in public I think you’re doing ok.

LurkerGal is a bitch. This is well documented and known by all. And I have contributed many stories.

I don’t have to like children just because it’s Christmas. Bah Humbug.

Whoah, you can always depend on LurkerGal to place a positive and friendly spin on someone’s post. Perhaps as a novelty LurkerGal could contribute a story rather than just criticism?

Wholey shit LukerGal, it’s nearly Christmas….try and lighten-up…..if that’s possible! Oh my god!

Bubzie: I’ve just read all three of your posts. Only three posts, starting with “Whoah!” “Wholey (sic) shit” and “Oh my God” respectively. Either you are easily impressed / freaked out, or just in need of some valium. Settle down boy, settle down. I can’t help fearing that this site might be a bit much for you. Head on over to Samuels and grab a brown cardigan. There’s a lad.

woah, my mum works on that street. freakyness.

Sam did an eye-witness report on 2CC on this story.
