ACT Policing has questioned and released a man after an incident at the Civic Bus Interchange yesterday when a man was reported to be using a mobile phone camera to take photographs up women’s skirts.
Around 6.50pm yesterday, police attended the interchange where an ACTION bus driver had identified a male performing this indecent act.
Police spoke to a 46-year-old Queanbeyan man, who consented to being interviewed at City Police Station. The man produced a camera which contained several images.
The man was later released pending further enquiries by police.
Anyone who may have witnessed this indecent behaviour, or believes she is a victim of this offence, is urged to report the matter to Police Operations on 131-444.
