Cleaners?

Can anyone recommend a good house cleaner (queanbeyan area) that could manage a very large house for a family of 2 adults and five children?

Both my partner and I run our own business and desperately need someone for at least 10 hours a week.

I have tried cleaning companies but have not been happy with the cleaning at all. I do not believe I am fussy (I do have 5 kids!) but I do believe that picking chairs up off the floor to vacuum and NOT vacuuming around items left on the floor to be standard!

Hi,

I do cleaning in Canberra and surrounds. I am happy to do all types of cleaning including:

– dusting, bathrooms toilet kitchen vacuuming mopping plus more – further duties can be discussed (including ironing).

I provide all cleaning products which are all non-toxic.
Can do cleaning as a once off, weekly, fortnightly, move in/out and spring clean.

Competetive rates with 5 star cleaning. I have experience and refs (from very satisfied clients) if required.

Send me an email to discuss your needs at chauntelle85@gmail.com

Hi Richie – I’m interested too! However we’re located at Florey so it might not suit??

If you’d like to get in contact with us, drop an email to adamandlil @ optusnet.com.au.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Hi,

I would be happy to come and clean for you! I am a 40 year old male from the UK. My wife works in the ACT and I am looking for a pocket money job! You can train me to clean your house the way you want it cleaned. I looked for a way to email you directly but couldn’t find the link?

Richie

put the kids to work. They clean, they get money. They don’t clean, they don’t get money. It sure worked when I was a kid.

If you have all those kids why on earth do you need a cleaner other than to do the heavy cleaning in the kitchen and laundry once a week?

The kids should do all the dishes, vacuuming, dusting, polishing – and they should be getting competent by the age of 7.

Kitchen: two hours; bathroom: two hours.

Unless your family has unusually dirty lazy habits that is …

I don’t recommend Absolute Domestics, they turned up once in 4 weeks (and even then they were an hour late). I think it was my fault for booking a friday morning clean and unfortunatly my cleaners (2 girls) liked going out Thursday nights.

Get Shannon to pop in

I highly recommend Absolute Domestics, http://www.abdom.com.au

Find a uni student. Some of them can work odd hours around their classes and can be trained to follow your instructions.

10 hours??? sheeesh. you said large house, is it a big white one with an australian flag on the roof?

10 hours to clean – wow ? I must be lazy…

How old are your kids…. Get them to pitch in and clean.

We have great cleaners – who are taking on any new business (sorry). But we do find that it forces us to tidy up at least once per week. And you need to be explicit with your instructions – ours took a bit of ‘training’ but now provides us with a spotless place each and every time they visit.

try the dial an angel mob. the link is:

they provide either cleaning or nanny services, or both.
