I saw the NAAS photo after I posted.

The thing is there is only one river crossing on the way to Mt Ginnini is the Cotter & I will be able to go through that.
The road is constructed sufficiently to cope with the little traffic it gets.

Interestingly they have not shut off the Bobyan Road, it has 5 crossings, 3 of them level……….

Um, KB1971, it has been raining the that area this week. Just look at the river levels on the BOM site. Also many of the roads, bridges and clossings are still damaged from the two floods in that area in December.

I did see the photo of NAAS after I posted it but the only creek/river crossing going to Mt Ginini is at the Cotter.

The rain is no reason to close that road as it is sufficiently constructed to cope with the little traffic it gets.

I notice Bobyan road is still open & it has 5 crossings, three of them level…….

Um, its not raining?????

I am so sick of being loked out of these areas. The roads are in as good a condition today as they were 15 years ago, very little has changed, Why shut the gates????

We were going to head up to Mt Ginini on Sunday for my nephews birthday, fuggers!!!
