Clubs betting on Mr Rabbit

The ABC has the news that even the Labor movement dominated Clubs aren’t willing to spend money on the possibility of Labor winning the next election:

Members met on Thursday afternoon to decide on whether to begin the trial organised, or delay until after the September polling date.

ClubsACT chief executive Jeff House says managers are concerned about the expense because the Coalition has promised to abolish the trial early if they are elected.

Of course they could just be betting that no matter the outcome Andrew Wilkie won’t be a vital parliamentary vote anymore.

But they wouldn’t be that cynical would they?

Oh my aching sides. Tell me another one!

I could never understand why Mr House was so keen to have the trial here ?? Was there a cash handout in it ? If there was you’d reckon Hobart would stick up their hand for the trial, and help out their member for Dennison ( is that the correct spelling for the seat ? ).

Who would be? I’d be wanting about 10000 to 1 be I consider it.
