Concerns for woman missing for more than a week - FOUND

Update: Thursday, 18 June – missing person Carolyn Verey has been located safe and well in the ACT. Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.


ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 50-year-old woman Carolyn Verey. She has been missing for more than a week and there are concerns for her welfare.

Carolyn has not been seen or heard from since 11:00 am on 10 June when she was seen in Hughes. She was reported as missing yesterday (17 June).

She is described as being Caucasian in appearance with long, dark greying hair and probably wearing glasses.

Police and family hold concerns for Carolyn’s welfare and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating her.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police in locating Carolyn is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444. Please quote reference number 6555873.
