Today while dining at Yiannos Cafe on Lathlain St, Belconnen, I was serenaded by Mr Tom Woodward performing acoustically for Yiannos patrons.

I think his songs sound better acoustically. Especially that one about the sailor.

After finishing my kidney and tripe roll I spoke to Tom.

He has 4 CD’s left, and hasnt sold one since he did the Stateline spot.

He has no gigs lined up in ACT, but is off to Melbourne in October for three gigs.

He wants to do more CD’s, so he needs to sell his four remaining ones.

Also, his hair has gone even more Leo Sayer.

For anyone who is wavering, email him and buy one of the four remaining CD’s.

Then it will be a collectors item.

hey JB, has he been on insatiable banalities ?

If some guy croons “Baa Baa Black Sheep” into my ear while I’m navigating my way around a bowl of lamb testicle stew, I ain’t paying the bill…
But yes, full marks to Tom for trying to get his music out. I’m sure he was belting out the ballads in a local winery I visited a few months ago, that went down well.

In some countrys lamb testicle stew is a delicacy.

He’s a muso, he was entertaining the masses.

My preference of energy source does not impact upon his music.

Yiannos serves all types of tucker, he does a roaring trade in bacon and egg rolls.

I reckon Tom is trying to get his music out to as many folks as possible and good luck to him.

I’d probably like Tom’s stuff too. But in an appropriate forum, a million miles away from sloshing into kidney and tripe rolls…

Not anti-singing, Gertie. It’s just the thought of being serenaded by Mr Woodward whilst I’m getting stuck into my k&t roll – I mean, there’s a time and a place for everything.
If I’ve got the k&t roll safely inside me, and I’m onto the baklava and raki, then I don’t mind a lovesick bloke serenading me – albeit from a safe distance.

Boo to you anti-singing people. That’s not to mention your blatant disregard for the nutritional value of the kidney and tripe roll.

If the singing don’t make you heave, the k&t roll will!

Kidney and tripe roll??
