A 20-year-old Conder man will face ACT Magistrates Court this morning after driving a stolen motor vehicle into a police car.

About 10.15pm last night (Wednesday, July 10) a white Nissan Navara was stolen from a car park in Phillip.

A short time later police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle in Dundas Court, Phillip. The man reversed the vehicle into the front of the police car then fled the area.

The man was located and arrested. He has been charged with Ride/Drive Motor Vehicle without Consent. Police will oppose bail.

I read the first paragraph and immediately thought, instant karma.

Maybe not so instant, but it’s good to see villains getting theirs relatively swiftly.
