The stellar headline acts of Busby Marou, Dallas Frasca and The Barons of Tang have been unveiled for the much anticipated Corinbank [Take II]. The wait has been worth it.

The new jam-packed music line-up also boasts Cilla Jane, Heath Cullen, Jack Carty and Lucie Thorne plus a strong local contingent which makes up over 75 per cent of the line-up, demonstrating Corinbank’s ongoing commitment to showcasing local artists.
Rain can’t hold this talent back. The plucky Corinbank Music and Arts Festival will stage a courageous comeback from 30 November – 2 December 2012, in the Brindabella Mountains, to give festival-goers the immersive experience that they have grown to love and expect.

“This was always going to be a line-up of love and discovery” said Amy Moon, General Manager. “We’re confident that you’ll dance your way out of Corinbank 2012 [Take 2] with a host of new favourite bands.”

Corinbank’s freedom of expression is irrepressible. Its celebration of life, music, art and creativity has garnered a loyal following, which saw an outpouring of generosity following its postponement last March. Patrons donated their ticket prices, bands returned their payments, and local artists committed to the rescheduled event at no cost.

“We’ve been blown away by love shown by our community” Ms Moon commented. “The music and performing arts line-up are based entirely on good will. All the local musicians and performance artists are performing for free, and the guest musicians for little more than the cost of being there. It’s a pretty telling statement about how much Corinbank means to the Canberra music and arts community.”

This strong allegiance is due to the unforgettable experience that is Corinbank. Over the past three festivals Corinbank has been a vehicle for promoting Australian bands and artists, exposing people to new ideas, and showcasing the beautiful Brindabellas.
Corinbank [Take II] will continue this musical journey, and then some.

Tidbinbilla range not the Brindabellas. Need to go a valley or two west to make that claim… or is the Tidbinbilla range part of the Brindabellas by some measure?

Wowsers?

Just the opposite, I’d have thought. It sounds great.

I see how my comment might come across. I was saying it in the Inspector Gadget, extremely surprised and exciteable way not in the bunch of whingers way. I’m very much looking forward to attending yet again.
