Because he refused to go on a family trip to New Zealand!

I don’t blame him. 😉

This is all getting very wiedd…

“Acne money” was a factor?
And he only remembered 14 months later?

I saw the footage on the television and it looked more like the camera man knocked the father over, not the other way around. You even heard the camera man apologise..
I guess the media reports whatever suits its agenda…

Story on ABC: http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/02/06/2156240.htm

The father lashed out at a photographer, hitting him in the nexk with an unbrella. He earlier said that his wife wanted to make their children strong and robust, and to toughen them up. Nice work!

She must have had him so she could buy a wireless with the baby bonus

Sounds like another person who bred for all the wrong reasons.

It seems mummy was the overbearining type and he planned to sue his folks over the pain and suffering inflicted upon him as a kiddy. His sister supported his actions.

Nein, der Schriftkegel ist unterschiedlich !

Porritt family is barred from attending the court room & not appearing till end if at all.

Out of consideration to the family, DPP advised facts would be sought first from other witnesses such as non-civilians.

The family may not be called to give evidence at all. If they are called, it will be well towards the end of the two-week proceedings. Until the family give evidence the family are prohibited by law from entering the court room because they are subpoenaed as witnesses.

Sounds about right pure accident all for ‘the greater good’.

For those who don’t get the quote rent Hot Fuzz – a good laugh and how police work should be done.

They said in court that he wanted to take out his father and sister too, so I think there’s more to this than just “Mummy won’t let me do what I want” syndrome.

I’m sure he didn’t mean to do it – he just slipped 57 times while peeling an apple with a craving knife.

Playing the old “in out, in out” always gets out of hand when blades get involved. 😐

Oh dear, stabbing his mother 57 times. What would Freud have to say about that?

No, el numbre es otra! 🙂

No, the font’s different! 🙂

Really very sad for the remaining family members, whatever happened.

The mother may have been overly strict, but he had moved out. It is a pity this had to happen.

Why? I don’t represent The RiotACT or the courts… There’s no jury to be influenced by my ‘short jocular statement’ posted randomly on the internet either. 😀 But sure, mum’s the word.

Hey, hey, hey … Queenie, please, this matter is sub judice.

Factual reporting is fine, but the guy’s mom seemed like a total psycho-bitch could cause trouble for the-riotact.

Hang on… Did I say 13 metres? I’m suddenly not sure if that’s right, so don’t quote me. I think it might have been something like 70 metres, actually.

Anyway, the guy’s mom seemed like a total psycho-bitch from what we heard from the committal hearing in the Magistrates Court, so I don’t wonder why the guy did the deed!

Joe: I transcribed this case today. It was actually a watch, car keys and a ring. The murder weapon was also found in Lake Burley Griffin 13 metres away.

duck did you mean to quote Mr Evil or are you two just on the same wave length??

Joe Canberran6:07 pm 04 Feb 08

And i don’t know where FG got the watch bit; the ABC says jewellery. Maybe he knows more but just isn’t saying? Or maybe he just got a little creative with his paraphrasing?

Anyway I think it’s fair to say riot’s only as every as good as it’s contributers

So RA is just plagiarising the ABC website word for word now?
