It appears that Canberra’s ire is still causing waves in the US, where Craig Ferguson has now apologised for his remarks made in conversation with Guy Pearce.

In a new conversation with Toni Collette, he baulked at the idea of visiting Australia due to our current hatred of him.

He feels that Australians have a tendency to lose their minds if their country is in anyway criticised.
Having read the article that includes excerpts from Toni Collette, I think that she may be the only one who has lost her mind.

[ED – and he didn’t actually apologise to Canberra]

Toni Collette should have said, “well at least it’s better than LA. This place is a hole”.

Sydney’s got great beaches filled with f9ckwits. If traffic is a culture, it’s definitely the place to be.

Don’t forget about shootings! It’s THE place to be if you’re into that sort of thing.

Sydney is cultural?
Sydney is the cultural capital of something?
Sydney is the cultural capital of Australia?

One thinks Melbourne might have something to say about that…

Who are these people?
