The track has been sealed on the steepest sections, so provided you can get around the tightest curve it’s probably not too hard.

Even when they were building the transmission station way back when, there were never any cranes up there, only 4WDs and utes.

Thankyou, but it’s not mine. I saw it here last year when Skywhale first appeared and thought with the “docking tower” at Mt Taylor it was time for a re-run.

Instead of docking station, perhaps some sort of supportive harness would be more apt. Something with straps and clips that no mere mortal man can figure out but only on a much larger scale 😛

Yes I know, coal powered power stations are so much better looking, with the added benefit of adding that lovely bouquet to the air. I smell it every time I drive through the Hunter Valley. Forget the bouquet of the local wines; just smell the air.

At least a coal fired power station produces power when the wind isn’t blowing. It’s like an insurance policy; it’s there when you need it.
I used to drive weekly on the New England Highway alongside the Lidell power stations and I never once could smell the (hardly visible) smoke and “carbon pollution” that comes out of the stacks.
It’s good that you can establish a fantasy about wind turbines as something beautiful though, as all I see is a huge con job.

I am wondering how real your opinions are. No matter the evidence you are given by people you continue to deny and peddle the same line. Even when I say I can smell the coal powered stations you argue against this and deny they smell. I first noticed the smell in the area years ago when I wasn’t even aware of power stations there. It was the obvious smell that alerted me to their presence, as I was surprised to smell the odour in what I thought, until then, was clean country air. If someone says they don’t find wind turbines ugly you say they are. No matter the evidence people present to you about climate change you say you are not convinced and basically the evidence is nonsense. I’m wondering if you really have these opinions, or rather have adopted them as a sure fire way to garnish responses from people. I’m learning how predictable your answers will be. Others have, it appears from comments, already come to that conclusion, but I’m new here and still learning. Still I don’t expect anything but a denial to my comments. That’s what I predict. As I said, you are too predictable. Are you for real?
